Are you tired of being at home? Don’t worry! here is a good news to all Bangaloreans. Only 75km of distance you have to cover up to get the taste of hills, fresh air, and clouds touching moments. Yes, I’m talking about DD Hills, which also known as Devarayanadurga Hills.

To take a long breath with full of oxygen in this COVID-19 situation, please visit this place. Trust me, If you wear masks, hand gloves, and sanitize your hands in every 30 minutes, and of course, maintain the proper hygiene then it will really not impossible to go out and chill with your parents, friends, and parter. We are staying at home and maintaining quarantine for more than 5 months. Everybody goes through the mental crisis and becomes depressed, I know it is very important to stay at home but if you maintain safety in a proper way then you can plan a road trip.

It would take around 2 hours from the main Bangalore city. This road trip is so refreshing which will free you from the exhausting life. Just think about it, you are going through the valley and enjoying an excellent long drive along with the beautiful scenery of hills. I know, you can’t stop yourself when you're watching the pictures of the road trip. It is a trip of exploring nature. There is a temple also.

When you enter the DD Hills road from the main road, the trees are welcoming you by shaking their branches. After a couple minutes of riding in DD Hills road, a surprising scenery waiting for you. A wonderful lake is situated there with all its beauty. The lake is really pictorial. You can sit here and enjoy the refreshing view. Don’t forget to click your photos for your next profile picture.

Well, taking rest in the lakeside, now restart the journey for the ultimate destination. When you reach the destination don’t worry about parking. There is a paid parking point. Now start your trekking. After a couple of minutes of tracking, you have to climb a number of stairs to reach the viewpoint. There is an alternate way if you avoid climbing the stairs. Just sit on the viewpoint and enjoy the exotic view, which really refreshes your mind. From the viewpoint, you have to walk more to reach the temple. But in this pandemic situation, the temple was close so I didn’t go there.

If you want to take rest for a while, don’t worry. There are many roadside restaurants, which maintain proper hygiene. And if you want to eat something, you can easily eat here without fear.

COVID-19 changes our day to day lifestyle. we have to fight against Coronavirus. So, if you plan a trip please focus on your safety. Keep distance from the other visitors. And try to avoid foods from the shops. Take your own water bottle, food, and sanitizer. Safety is in your hand, so enjoy your trip with full of safety.
