There is a hearsay that Goa plan never happens! I am well planned in my day-to-day life, but when it comes to touring, you guess it right! I am hell messy. Unplanned trips have become a part and parcel of my existence.

GOA is a place of beaches, a place of enjoyable night-life, a place of coconut-and-cocktail. Here is a vessel of information that helps you to explore Goa for the first time. Let’s begin the ride!

Cheerful Calangute Beach: Never skip to visit Calangute Beach from your wishlist. This place is basically famous for water sports. You can book a Dolphin tour (you gonna catch some fantastic aquatic life if you are lucky), Island tour from this beach. There are many agents who may come to you for the booking. Having sun-bath, you can enjoy your snacks and spend hour-an-hour playing with beach dogs. Let the Goan beer take care of your holiday thrust.

Blissful Baga Beach: If you are a party animal then Baga beach is for you! This beach also famous for water sports and Dolphin tour. But as the day passes by and moonlight reflects on the golden sand, Baga beach comes to you with a new texture. All the lights twinkle with the stars! chairs-tables are set, music becomes louder and louder and now Baga beach is ready for the party. Don’t worry, you can enjoy nightlife full of safety.

Basilica of Bom Jesus: This is a famous ancient church. And I mean it. Its construction work started in 1594 and completed in 1605. Yes at 1605! And I am not kidding you. This church holds the tradition of the roman catholic world. If you are having good luck like me then you can see the wedding of the locals in this church. When I entered the church the whole atmosphere took me into the ancient catholic flavor. Church’s baroque architecture surely takes place on your Instagram page. Church authority organizes some water and light show, which you can enjoy. Overall this church satisfies my eyes.

Aguada Fort: Portuguese built this fort in the seventeenth century to protect their colonies from the Dutch. This is a lighthouse, overlooking the Arabian sea. You can enjoy the fresh air along with the exotic view of the last sun.

Chapora Fort: When we think about Chapora Fort the first thing that comes to our mind is DIL CHAHTA HAI movie. You never forget the scene that three friends were sitting in this fort. And you should never forget to click a photo on that pose. You can enjoy the adjoining view of the Chapora river and the Arabian sea.

Saturday Night Market: I’m really excited to tell you about the Saturday Night Market. I highly recommend visiting this place and grab at least a couple of things from here. If you are Indian, you will be enjoying the bargaining sessions. You can skip a few beaches but never skip visiting the Saturday night market. Have I told you the best part of it? a live concert. You heard that right! Locals portray their love of music and they never bore you. Saturday Night Market is open till midnight. There are so many stalls selling dresses, handicrafts, jewelry, India’s authentic spices, and so many things. The fusion flavor of street food — dress — jewelry — beer — snack — music gives you a vibrant atmosphere.

If you visit Goa first time, save at least a couple of days to explore North Goa properly. But my friend Goa trip does not end here! South Goa gives you relaxation apart from the party based North Goa. So, always steal extra days from your cubicle.
