The place is GOA but there is no party, no crowd, no clubs, no bars! Is it possible? YES. It is possible in our razzle-dazzle Goa. Apart from North goa, there is a small Goa where you find the real soul of traveling. In South Goa, you can palpable the local culture, their lifestyle, their food, and find peace. let’s hit the road to South Goa…

Sree Mangueshi Temple & Shantadurga Temple: Let’s start our journey with the blessings of God. I visited a few temples in South Goa. You can’t believe what a peace I found there. And one most attractive thing I saw that the basic structure of all temples is almost the same. My one and only suggestion is to carry water while climbing the Stairs.

Dona Paula: You remember that scene where Ajay Devgan walked under a flying car? Yes, you are right. I’m talking about the Singham movie. Do you no the shooting spot? That was Dona Paula. This place is famous for water spots. If you want to enjoy Cruise journey then come to this place. Do you like Love stories? Why I’m asking! I know everyone likes love stories. Dona Paula has a legendary love story. Dona Paula de Menezes was the daughter of one of the Portuguese Viceroys. The beautiful and innocent Dona fell in love with a native fisherman and the poor man also responded to her love. But that love had not taken gracefully by the rich father of Dona. The arrogant father forcefully separated Dona from her lover. Unable to bear the separation she climbed up the cliff and threw herself from there into the Arabian Sea. Nowadays the locals believe the ghost story of Dona Paula. They say that Dona comes out from the sea to search out his lover. But all these stories are myth. Apart from this story, this place is really beautiful and I highly recommend this place to visit.

Miramar Beach: Tamarisk covered beach, fresh air of the Arabian sea, the chirp of bird really take yourself from the hustle and bustle life. I sat on the beach and enjoyed the scenic beauty. You can find a mini crowd here.

Panjim Church: This is a famous church and the best photogenic place. This is the central attraction of old Goa. Its criss-cross stairs make it an unforgettable landmark in Old Goa.

St. Anne’s Church & St. Anne’s Church Road: Most of the Indian film directors prefer Goa so you find many places where super hit Bollywood movies were shooted. If you want to click a picture in the midst of coconut tree road, like Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi, you have to come on this road. Then you must come to visit St. Anne’s Church, which is next to St. Anne’s church road. This church gives you the ultimate feel of Goan flavor of life.

Reis Magos Fort: From its origin, it used as a jail then as a hospital. And now It has been restored to serve as a Cultural and Heritage Centre. It is the oldest fort in Goa. You have to pay here INR 50 as an entry free. From this fort, you see a black sand beach. In this beach, I bought an ice-cream. Believe me, the teste of this ice-cream took me to my childhood.

Mangrove Boardwalk: Do you know, Goa has a small mangrove forest? Yes! I’m not joking. If you want to get a feel like Sundarbans then type Mangrove Boardwalk in your google map and start your scooter. Trust me, you will find a hidden gem.

Fontainhas: It is a Latin quarter. This place makes your Instagram page more colorful. This place is really eye-catching because of the paints people used for brushing their houses. This is a mini foreign in our own Goa. I highly recommend vising this place.

Goa is the smallest state in our country. But there are huge places to explore. Goa attracts travel thirsty people year after year. Put away your hectic schedule and plan for few days to explore Goa by saying GOA IS ON!
