We had the cheapest trip to Darjeeling after Lockdown. here is how
Darjeeling, the most famous hill destination is also known as THE QUEEN OF HILLS. There is a hearsay that God has created this place with his own hands and add more extra beauty to this place. Darjeeling is one kind of place where you want to hundred times. And every time Darjeeling appears to you with its auxiliary enchantress, like a beauty queen.
After exploring Mirik, we decided to visit Darjeeling one more time. Worked as we thought, next day morning we hit the road towards Darjeeling by our scooty. We ran our scooty through the romantic beauty of pine forests and tea gardens. We crossed many villages. All these villages are also famous as a tourist spot. You can stay here to experience the ultimate flavor of hillside lifestyle. You can easily find a homestay here. On the way to Darjeeling from Mirik, you can enjoy Maggie in Nepal! Yes, I’m not joking. There is a border between India and Nepal and You can touch the land of Nepal.
HOW TO GO:
You can rent a shared cab or reserve a private cab. Bus facility is also available on this route. But, if you’re an adventure lover like us then you can plan your trip by bike or scooty. But hill-road driving is not as easier as normal driving. If you’re an expert in driving then you can take this risk.
WHICH ROUTE IS THE BEST:
There is two way via Mirik and via Kurseong. The road condition of both roads is good. The scenic beauty of Mirik road is a little bit high than the Kurseong Road. We went to Darjeeling via Mirik road and came back via Krseong road. But I highly advise you to avoid Pankkhabari road. This road is too dangerous.

Darjeeling is basically a tourist-based place to you don’t have any trouble to get a budget-friendly suitable hotel, restaurant, rented car, and any kind of shop. The location of the hotel with the interior is too good. You will have a vivid view of Kanchanjanga along with mall road.
This hotel has its own restaurant. And the taste of every food is too delicious.
WHICH PLACES MUST TO VISIT:
Mall Road: Mall road always gives you the actual vibe of the Darjeeling city. Shop, restaurant, momos, tea, ice-cream, joy, happiness, light, gathering — everything assemble here. Handcraft shops, local food shops, tea shops, winter wear shops are available here. This is the most joyous place in Darjeeling.
Peace Pagoda & Japanese Temple: This place gives you a mini Tibetan flavor. The architecture of the pagoda gives you the feeling of mini Tibbat.
Batasialoop: Batasia loop is basically the toy train’s track changing place. This place is also known as a war memorial. From this place you can have a fantastic view of Kanchanjanga along with the whole of Darjeeling city.
Zoo: If you want to see red Panda, snow Leopard, and White Tiger then you must have to visit this Zoo.
If you have more time then you can explore more places near Darjeeling. But we had a very tight schedule, so with a very upset mind, we completed our trip. But lots of joy, memories, fun join with our travel experience. we promised to visit Darjeeling again.
